It was a nice sunny day or night if you want to get technical about it. I snapped this picture from the side of the road as I was trying to get to my job site. I know back in civilization this would be odd seeing this going down the road but around here we see it all the time. It’s hard to tell in the picture but this crane is almost as wide as the road. Security has to go in front of it and clear everyone off the road so they can go by.

Marty: I refer my friends to your blog to try to help them understand what the slope it like. Thanks for all the great pictures. Believe it or not, I kinda miss the slope at times. It was 90 degrees F today on the golf course, and I am working 13-14 hour days average 6 per week. But Tanya and the kids are happier here, and that makes it better for everyone. We look forward to hopefully returning to AK in 7 or 8 years if and when a golf job opens up in Anchorage.
