This is a 631B or more commonly known as a “Water Wagon” or at least that’s what there called around here. It’s used to water the roads to keep the dust down. They drive up next to a lake like this one, stick out a big long mechanical arm with a pump on it and fills it’s self with water. It holds up to 10,000 gallons of water. Then they drive down the road and turns on the sprayers which are on the front and the rear. If you look at the picture close you can see the front sprayers sticking down past the bumper. It’s pretty amazing how fast they can spread 10,000 gallons of water down the road. Not only that but it looks pretty scary coming down the road at you. They can only go about two miles before they have to fill up again.

I'm curious what the water wagon weighs. At 8.4 lbs. per gallon, 10,000 gallons is a lot of weight in itself.
