Arctic Rat

I pulled up to park at one of the camps and I see this Arctic ground squirrel run all crazy like though the parking lot. I sat there watching him for a few minutes while he tried to run up the leg of this parking barricade. He would get close to the top then slide down almost like he was doing it on purpose or just for fun. He then ran to the far end of the barricade, that’s when I lost site of him. I was just getting ready to get out of the truck and I see him poke his head out of the pipe. The first picture didn’t come out that good because it’s taken though my dirty window, I thought for sure that rolling down the window would scare him off but it didn’t. He looks and acts like a ferret.
