Today the weather was sunny and hot. The temperature got up to 64 degrees and the mosquitoes came out of hibernation. I like the warm weather but it was almost too hot to be wearing coveralls and a hardhat.
As I was standing on a ladder, minding my own business I heard something behind me so I turned around to see a herd of caribou strolling by. I was close to my truck, so I slowly walked over to it and grabbed my camera. They were within 10 to 15 feet from me, but as long as I stood still they just looked at me and kept on walking.

Way cool and I agree with Casey. I love to know what it's like up there.
Really how many people can use this line at work, " As I was standing on a ladder, minding my own business I heard something behind me so I turned around to see a herd of caribou strolling by." ;)
Great post... it was hot here yesterday too, now cloudy and cool. Gotta love AK summers.
