This is the start of the Alyeska Pipeline, mile post 0. In the summer they have what they call “Fun Runs”. You can either walk or run 5K or for those of us that live in America thats 3.1 miles. This run was put on by Alyeska Pump Station 1. We walk through the fog next to the Alyeska Pipeline for 1.5 miles to get fun run ticket, then turn around and walk back, picking up your free T-shirt as you leave. It’s nice just to have something to do after work plus I could use the exercise, a free shirt is nice too.

Marty, you have such good pictures on you site, there is something interesting going on all the time. I never realized all the wild life up there. So glad you have a nice camera. I sure enjoy reading you site. Keep up the pictures!!
