The Time Has Come!

I’m off to Kuparuk to catch a plane home. Kuparuk is one of the neighboring North Slope oil fields. I usually fly out of Dead Horse airport on a Shared Services flight but since the “plane incident” the new make up flight which is flown by Alaska Airlines, doesn’t get into Anchorage until 11:55 P.M. tonight. I managed to get an empty seat on one of the flights out of Kuparuk that will put me in Anchorage around 8:40 instead of midnight. I will have to take an hour to an hour and a half bus ride to get to that flight but after my long hitch that’s fine with me. I get off the clock at 6:00 P.M. so any time I send here after that is my time, and I don’t like to waste any of my R-n-R sitting here on the Slope.

That’s the news folks and I am outa here, I’ll be back in two weeks two days.
