This is where a small pond was earlier this summer. All the water has dried up and this is what was left. I think it looks pretty neat how the mud cracks like this when it dries. You can’t tell in the picture but the cracks are about 6 to 8 inches deep. If you walk out on it, it feels like walking on a big stiff wet sponge, you don’t sink in but it is squishy. Not that I have ever walked on a huge wet sponge but I assume that’s what it would feel like.
