Yesterday the wind was blowing over 50 MPH and everyone got the day off due to the very nasty weather. It’s called Phase 3 weather and that means, zero visibility due to blowing snow, large snow drifts (that you can’t see until you hit them) and cold wind chills and nobody is allowed to go anywhere out side of the buildings. Today the winds have died down and we got to go back to work. It’s amazing how much snow the wind can move around in 12 hours. Heavy equipment will spend the next few days trying to clean up all of the roads and parking lots. I took this picture at lunch today. The way the wind was blowing though the wheel of this truck made a pretty cool looking hub cap out of snow.

it looks so happy, too.
Hey, snow people. Remember when you kids were all little and the snow berms held trolls? mom
marty, it's good to see you blogging again. that hubcap looks like a snowman with a silly grin on it's face. Oh my goodness - 111 degrees is quite the temperature change!
