
There seems to be a lot more caribou hanging around this winter than I remember from previous years. Usually the heard comes through in the summer, stay for a month or so then leave together. I usually see a few stragglers in the winter that got left behind but there seems to be a lot left behind this year. -30 below, I bet there kicking themselves right about now. Some lucky polar bears have fresh warm meat just walking around waiting for them.

Being a bear would be the only way to eat those tough critters this time of the year. You couldn't STEW them enough to get it choked down. Sausage, maybe - cut with pork fats.
So is oxen pee as powerful as badger milk?
